ITINERARY IN DETAIL

DAY 1: ARRIVE HANOI – FREE & EASY

Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to hotel by driver (No Guide) with signboard, check in, relax (the room may not be available until 12:00 PM).

DAY 2: HALONG BAY DAY TRIP (B, L)

08h00 – 08h30

Pick-up at hotel and start 3.5 hour scenic - drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side and have a short break on the way.

12h45 – 16h00

You arrive the Tuan Chau Harbor, and then embark the Incredible Asia Journeys – Day cruise followed by a short cruise briefing.

Start a dreamy cruise to stunning scenery with thousands of limestone mountains and have seafood lunch (we serve you with Vietnamese traditional dishes, in case you are vegetarian, we have other food options for you) while cruising through the emerald water passing by the Dog Stone, the Burning Incense islet, stop at Ba Hang fishing village for kayaking or sit in a sampan boat rowed by locals.

After visiting of Fighting-Cock islet and the Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung) cave – which has opened to the public since 1998 with stalagmites and stalactites, we go back to the Incredible Asia Journeys – Day cruise.

16h00-16h30: Have tea break while enjoying local finger food (green bean cake – a specialty of Hai Duong province) and sunset in Halong Bay.

16h45 – 17h15: Arrive at the harbor. Disembark and get on bus back to Hanoi.
At around 20h30: Arrive in Hanoi.

DAY 3: HANOI CITY TOUR FULL DAY (B, L)

Have breakfast at hotel.

This morning, we will start a Hanoi tour by visiting outside Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam).

Have lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, continue to visit the Temple of Literature. Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070. It is gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters and visit Ngoc Son Temple...
Note: On Monday and Friday morning, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ethnic museums are closed.

DAY 4: HANOI - FLY TO HO CHI MINH - FREE & EASY (B)

After breakfast, driver (No Guide) pick up you and transfer to Noi Bai Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh.

Once Arrive Ho Chi Minh, the driver (No Guide) pick you up at the airport, transfer to check in hotel & free leisure (the room may not be available until 12:00 PM).

DAY 5: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR - CUCHI TUNNELS (B, L)

Pick you up at hotel, visit The Reunification Palace, War Remants Museum, The Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, Jade Emperor Pagoda.

Have lunch in the restaurant.

Then head to Cu Chi tunnels. Arriving tunnels, a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed will be given. We then spend time exploring the maze of tunnels including innumerable trap doors, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens.

DAY 6: MEKONG DELTA FULL DAY (B, L)

At 08:30 AM, tour guide will pick up you at hotel and start a full day to Mekong Delta. It is also known as Vietnam's 'rice basket’-- a fertile area spreading nearly 50,000 sq km. Here the mighty Mekong River ends by splitting itself into nine major tributaries. The Vietnamese name these nine tributaries “Nine Dragons.” Here’s our schedule that is designed to help you experience local daily activities along the Mekong.

Enjoy the scenic journey along way bordered by green rice fields. On arrivals at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Take a leisurely on boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch at orchard garden. Boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea and enjoy “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Back to Ho Chi Minh. Leisure time.
