How can I get a best price of tour?

It is very easy, just send a inquiry form or an email to our travel specialists with tour planned details: travel dates, accommodation types, length of trip, and number of persons. Our sales will send to you the best quotation in 24 hours & consultant online by WhatsApp, messenger, etc.

Moreover, If you ever travelled with Tiptop Tour before, you will get loyalty discount with a 5% discount on your next booking. Please note that, loyalty discounts will be applied on your invoice and not at the booking stage.

 

What does the price include?

All prices (emails or brochures) are net prices, and shown in final US dollar number. It includes all kind of taxes and service charge but it does not include bank fees of any transactions. All the bank fees will be paid by client’s side.

Please check carefully the inclusion and exclusion of services before booking. Inclusion and exclusion services will also be listed in our quotation sent email to you.

 

Do I pay a full price for my children?

Kindly inform about your children’s age to our travel consultant, she or he will give you the exactly price to you in email.

+ Children under 3 years old: free of charge if sharing existing bed with parents

+ Children from 4 to 7 years old: 50% Adult’s tour price if sharing existing bed with parents

+ Children from 4 to 7 years old: 75% Adult’s tour price if using extra bed

+ Children from 8 to under 9 years old: 75% Adult’s tour price if sharing existing bed with parents

+ Children from 8 to 9 years old: 90% Adult’s tour price if using extra bed

+ Children from 10 years old up: Charged as adults

 

Do we get cheaper price if more people in our tour?

When your tour has more members joining together, the price for per person will be reduced correspondingly. Because the fee of some services such as tour guides, transfers will be shared equally.

 

How do I reserve a tour with you?

Send us an email of booking tour purchase, as soon as we receive it, we will check the hotel & flight availability of your booking and send an official proforma invoice with payment methods for firstly deposit. Learn more about payment on Tiptop Tour Payment Method.

 

What is the booking process?

* Step 1: Send your inquiry

When you choose a tour on our website, please click “Make Reservation” tab of that tour. Or “Create My Trip” in the menu bar which takes you to our booking form or tailor made form.

 

* Step 2: Complete the Inquiry form

Please enter all the information requested on the form. Click “Send Inquiry” at the bottom of the page. If you want to inquiry another tour, you do steps 1 and 2 separately.

 

* Step 3: Quote the tour & discussion stage

After sending the inquiry form to us, you will immediately receive our e-mail with the details of your inquiry. And then, we create the full proposal of tour with net price per person, and we will reply within 24 hours by email.

You read out the proposal of tour, and may discuss with us to clarify all your concerns, revised itinerary & quote (if any) to match your expectation. After that, if you agreed with final quotation, then we go to next steps.

 

* Step 4: Booking order & Confirm the tour

After you agreed with final quotation, then you send email to us for request booking that tour you agreed. As soon as we receive your email of booking order, we will check the all services such as hotel & flight availability, transfer, tour guide, etc of your chosen tour. If all services are available, we will send you an e-mail of booking confirmation with including hotels, transfers, invocie, deadline. When you received e-mail of booking confirmation, you start to pay deposit.
 

* Step 5: Payment Process

When you received e-mail of booking confirmation, you start to pay deposit. We will send the guideline for the payment; we accept payment via two main ways: bank transfer or online payment - a secure online payment gateways for Visa, Master & Amex.
+ First deposit: 30% of total amount.
+ Final payment:

++ The rest of balance will be paid by 30 days before on arrival date.

++ (Special method): You pay by USD Cash on arrival date.

Note: It applies cancellation policy after you made the payment.

 

* Step 6: Send the detailed documents of your journey

After getting your payment, we will send you detailed documents: flight tickets, hotel booking code (if any), visa letters, tour guide,…

Note: Our documents as voucher (in Vietnam, supplier don’t issue voucher, we book service with them by internal email, then our email as voucher between us & you).

 

When will my reservation be confirmed?

After sending to us a booking order of tour, you need to pay a first deposit. Once received your deposit, we will book all the internal flights, hotels, tour guides and transfers for you.

If all of the services are booked successfully, we will send you a confirmation email including a deposit invoice and other useful information. However, in case the services are fully booked, we will inform you and suggest similar options with your agreement.
When you receive confirmation email, it means your reservation is confirmed.

 

Do we need a confirmation code?

After receiving your deposit, we will send you an email of confirmation code detailing all flights, hotels. The reservation codes (if have) should be shown when you check in or use the services. If some hotel don’t have reservation code, you can use booking under “Tiptop Tour” to check in hotel. Your passport is needed to verify when you do check in hotel, cruise and flight.

Note: Our documents as voucher (in Vietnam, supplier don’t issue voucher, we book service with them by internal email, then our email as voucher between us & you).

 

How can I make a payment to Tiptop Tour?

At Tiptop Tour, we have four secure payment methods for the clients. You can choose one of them, when you confirm the bookings with us.

Option 1 - Bank Transfer: We highly recommend all clients to pay us with a big amount from USD 1000 up. Please be noted that all transaction fee will be paind by client’s side. Ask our sale about Tiptop Tour Bank Account.

Option 2 - Credit card: (4% bank fee for Visa, Master and 4% for American Express – pay online via Onepay system): we will send you a payment link to pay through One pay, or you can pay through POS when we meet directly in Hanoi.

Option 3 - Cash: avoid bank fee for balance payment on arrival, we definitely accept cash in VND, USD, AUD, EUR, but exchange rates will be applied by our local bank.

Option 4 - Western Union or Money Gram: MoneyGram and Western Union Service (highly recommended for big amount of money)

MoneyGram and Western Union Service are relatively safe and fast and lower transfer fee. So they are highly recommended for all bookings.

Do I need to pay the deposit?

The deposit is required to guarantee your reservation (tours, hotels, transfer, etc). After receiving your deposit, we’re going to reserve the services for you. So the deposit is required to secure your booking. Normally, 30% of total cost will be required for deposit at the booking time.

For some urgent cases or special types of promotion, we will require full payment at the booking time.

 

How can I pay through VTCPay?

We connect with the OnePay Payment Gateway (https://vtcpay.vn) to accept Online Payment by most major debit and credit Cards. Represents MasterCard to provide online payment solution to the enterprises in Vietnam, VTCPay payment portal meets standards of international financial system such as PCI DSS of PCI Security Standards Council, 3D-Secure of Visa, MasterCard and JCB. Your card information will be processed advanced security system and not stored at our database (merchant).

Once you have agreed with the services and price, we will send you an invoice via a secure link for online payment by email. Just click to the link and follow instructions as below to pay online by credit cards we will need your billing address, telephone number, full name as in your passport to create the invoice.

1- First step: Click on the link: we provide or copy and paste the address to browser. The payment gateway interface will appear as below:

 

2- Second step: Card Information input
* Online payment password will be required if you have enrolled 3D-Secure Program for your card with the Issuer Bank namely Verified by Visa for Visa card, Master Card Secure Code for MasterCard, and J- Secure for JCB Card.

3- Last step: Transaction result
Please wait for few minutes for the transaction result from VTCPay payment gateway. We will send you an email to inform you the Order status and the transaction result.

If you input correct card information but receive no transaction result from the payment gateway or us, do not try to make other payment. Please contact us for the transaction result and confirmation of the order.
Your transaction may be occasionally not successful as:
1. You have input in-correct card information
2. You have not input enough credit balance (daily or monthly)
3. Your card has not been activated for online payment. You should contact the Issuer Bank for the card activation.
Important Note*: you must be the card owner. So in some cases, we would require you to provide us copied of your Passport and credit card. This is just to ensure the card is yours. We will reserve the right not to approve the payment if such details are not provided. Important card information will be hidden as in the following photo for your personal security.

 

How about Vietnam Visa, Cambodia Visa and Laos Visa?

VISA TO VIETNAM:

To enter Vietnam you need:
+ A passport valid for 6 months beyond your travel date.
+ A visa for Vietnam - usually either a Tourist Visa or a Business Visa but other classes are available.
+ Visas may be either 3, single-entry or multiple-entry as requested at time of application.
+ Two (2) recent passport-size photos (3x4 cm).

 

Visa
Almost all visitors to Vietnam need a visa to enter the country, although some qualified exemptions apply for citizens of those countries with bilateral reciprocal agreements with Vietnam. Depending upon the nationality and passport of the applicant, a tourist visa may be granted for thirty (30) day stay in Vietnam.

 

Visa on arrival
The easiest way is to get your visa through a licensed Vietnamese Travel Company, such as Tiptop Tour. We can quickly and efficiently organize your pre-arranged visa on-arrival if you wish. Visa fee is reasonable at US$ 15/person, not included stamping fees which you will be required to pay directly at the airport US$ 25 per person. It takes about 3-5 working days (Except Saturday and Sunday) for a normal procession. For an urgent procession, it takes about 2 working days. Visa exemptions: are applied for citizens of:
+ Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Laos (Not more than 30 days)
+ France, Germany, England, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland (Not more than 15 days)

The following information is needed for visa on arrival:
+ Full name - exactly as stated in your passport
+ Date and Place of Birth - exactly as stated in your passport
+ Gender
+ Nationality – this must be the same as the passport to be used for those with more than one nationality
+ Occupation or Job
+ Passport Number – include any prefix letter
+ Passport Date and Place of Issue
+ Passport Date of Expiry
+ Your proposed/actual Entry and Exit dates for Vietnam
+ The Country in which, or the point of entry to Vietnam at which, you wish to receive your entry visa on arrival. Contact us for Visa on arrival to Vietnam.

 

VISA TO CAMBODIA:

All Foreign Visitors are now able to obtain the Cambodia visa upon arrival at the airport.  It is no longer necessary to get the visa stamp at the Cambodian Embassy before your visit. Just prepare the following documents:
+ A Passport Photocopy
+ 1 photos (3 x 4 cm)
+ US$ 30 Cash for tourist visa fee (Paid directly to the Immigration)
The Cambodia Visa is officially issued at the following ports of entry:

By Air
+ Pochentong Airport in Phnompenh
+ Siemreap Airport (Angkor Wat Region)

By Land
Travelers can travel to/from Cambodia by land through Aranyapathet-Poipet Border and Trat-Koh Kong Border of Thailand and Moc Bai – Bavet Border of Vietnam. Cambodia Visa Validity:  30 days from the date of issue, *NOT* from the date of entry.

Visa Extension
Travelers who would like to prolong their stay in Cambodia may extend their visa at the Department of Immigration situated just opposite the Pochentong Airport. The visa may be extended for 30 days at the cost of USD 25.
Some travelers have reported that the visa extension for another one month was no longer possible, since the middle of June 2000. If you expect to stay more than a month, better get a Business visa at one shot for USD 25 with three months validity.

 

VISA TO LAOS:

Visa is required by all nationalities. Visa is usually delivered by Lao Embassies or is issued at any International entry gates to Laos, including International airport of Vientiane, Luang Prabang and Pakse.  The visa form is available at immigration counter; please bring along with you two (2) color photo (passport size). The fee is quoted from US$8 to US$42 per person valid for 30 days. However, the procedure of getting a visa changes from time to time. Laos accept free visas for some ASEAN Member Citizenship.

How about tour package cancellation & fee?

All cancellations must be in writing, and be sent to us by email. Any tour cancellation after confirmation will be charged, the following rules apply for cancellations:

+ 60 days above before arrival: 20%

+ 30-59 days before arrival: 40% cancellation charge

+ 15-29 days before arrival: 60% cancellation charge

+ 8-14 days before arrival: 80% cancellation charge

+ 7 days or less cancellation notice: No refunds

(*** Non refundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.)

NOTES: if you book a single services such as Hotel room, Mekong River Cruise, Halong Bay Cruise, the cancellation policy will be different depending on properties policy. Kindly ask our Sales Executive for more details.

 

How can I get a credit card refund?

When you make a online payment with your credit card via VTCPay, of course we will pay a refund for you via VTCPay. All credit card refunds will be processed in timely manner. The refund processing depends on your billing cycle with the credit card company. Once the refund instructions leave our office, it can take from 15-45 working days for the refunds to arrive in your account. Please notice that the refunds will be made in the form of a credit to your card account.
