ITINERARY IN DETAIL

DAY 1: ARRIVE HANOI - CITY TOUR HALF DAY (L)

Arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to hotel by tour guide with signboard, then transfer to local restaurant.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Then, do check in, relax (the room is official available after 14:00 PM).

Afternoon: start Hanoi tour by visiting the oldest pagoda called Tran Quoc Pagoda. Continue to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and the French Quarter (Old Quarter Hanoi), explore Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge and Ma May ancient house.

DAY 2: HANOI - SAPA - CAT CAT VILLAGE (B, L)

6.45 - 7.15: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point then depart to Sapa, following Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway. 
Along the way, you will enjoy by the beauty of northwest mountains, terraced fields are sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Stop and have a rest in 30 minutes.
13.00: Arrive in Sapa, check in hotel and have lunch.
Afternoon: You start trekking to Cat Cat village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. 
Evening: you are free to explore the charm of Sapa at night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping.

DAY 3: SAPA - LAO CHAI & TAVAN VILLAGE - HANOI (B, L)

After breakfast, the tourist will visit Lao Chai - Ta Van Village to understand more about ethnic minority community, enjoy imposing mountain scenery, terraced fields, and marvelous nature. Visit ancient sacred stones with big - small ones which have many unique images, secret sigh. See bridge which made by rattan like Muong Hoa stream. Have lunch. Free time to relax.
16.00: It‘s time to say “Good bye Sa Pa!” and drive back to Hanoi. Along the way, once again you have a chance to enjoy the magical beauty of northwest mountains.
21.30: We arrive in Hanoi

DAY 4: HANOI CITY TOUR - HALONG (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel, the guide will meet you at your hotel then he takes you on tour. Start our day with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Uncle Ho’s house on stilt. Then we head to One Pillar Buddhist Pagoda built in 1049 by King Ly Thai Tong who ruled from 1028 to 1054. Further on our excursion, we visit to Van Mieu, Temple of Literature. After visiting this wonderful place, we will have lunch at local restaurant and refresh.

Afternoon: We will transfer to Halong bay

Arrive Halong, check in hotel

Free to visit Halong night market

Overnight in Halong city

DAY 5: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel. We then transfer to the sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site with the most beautiful islets among thousands of limestone islands such as Dog islet, Incense Burner Islet, Fighting Cock Islet etc.

One stop of the 4-hour cruise is Dong Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Cave), located on a remote island in the bay. As the name suggests, the cave is adorned with fantastic stalactites and stalagmites as well as colored lights, which transforms the scene into a fairytale palace.

Have lunch with seafood on the boat

Return to the harbor and transfer back Hanoi.

Free for shopping at old street or night market in Hanoi by yourselves (On Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
