ITINERARY IN DETAIL

DAY 1: ARRIVE HANOI

Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you will be warmly welcomed by driver (No Guide). Then transfer to hotel, check in & leisure (the room may not be available after 14:00 PM).

The rest time, you will be freely explore Hanoi by your ways.

DAY 2: HANOI - SAPA - CATCAT VILLAGE (B, L)

At 07:30 am: Tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point then depart to Sapa, following Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway. Along the way, you will enjoy by the beauty of northwest mountains, terraced fields are sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Stop and have a rest in 30 minutes.

Have lunch at local restaurant on the way.
13.00 am: Arrive in Sapa, check in hotel.
Afternoon: You start trekking to Cat Cat village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. 
Evening: you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping.

DAY 3: SAPA – LAO CHAI – TA VAN – GIANG TA CHAI (B, L)

After breakfast, go trekking to Lao Chai, Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai villages of H’mong, Dzay, Red Dzao minorities. From here we have a magnificent view to the minority villages and terraced rice fields beneath us. The walk is about 16 km along the track that the Vietnamese used for fleeing, when the Chinese invaded Sapa in 1979. Then get back to Sapa for overnight.

DAY 4: SAPA – THAN UYEN – MU CANG CHAI (B, L, D)

Have breakfast.

Today excursion cross Tram Ton Pass, the freshest, cool air and nice landscapes. Taking tours to visit villages of Muong Khoa, Muong Kim and Na Kim where you can see very colorful minority groups in Than Uyen then transfer to Mu Cang Chai for overnight.

DAY 5: MU CANG CHAI – HUA KHAT (B, L, D)

Have breakfast.

This morning, leaving Mu Cang Chai for Puong Luong and trekking more 14 km to Nam Khat village of H’mong people. Have lunch then continue trekking to Hua Khat and homestay in Hua Khat village.

DAY 6: HUA KHAT – TU LE (B, L, D)

Have breakfast.

Leave Hua Khat village, we will take a walking of 5 km to the main road where car is waiting for, crossing Cao Pha Pass on the bumpy road and visiting bee-growing farm and someminority groups on the way until you get to Tu Le. Homestay in Ma village of Thai people. Free at the leisure, "Having a bath in hot spring". Dinner and overnight at homestay in Ma village.

DAY 7: TU LE – MUONG LO – YEN BAI (B, L, D)

Have breakfast.

Leave Ma village, we continue our trip by car to Yen Bai via Muong Lo (Nghia Lo). This is quite unspoiled tourist destination where you can enjoy the most beautiful landscapes. Visiting Dzao and Thai minorities on the way. Lunch en route.

Arrive and check in hotel in Yen Bai city. Free time until go having dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 8: YEN BAI - HANOI (B, L)

Have breakfast.
