ITINERARY IN DETAIL

DAY 1: ARRIVE HANOI

Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you will be warmly welcomed by driver (No Guide). Then transfer to hotel, check in & leisure (the room may not be available after 14:00 PM).

The rest time, you will be freely explore Hanoi by your ways.

Overnight in Hanoi

DAY 2: HANOI – MAI CHAU – HANG KIA VILLAGE (B, L, D)

Have breakfast at hotel.

Then, tour guide pick up you from hotel, and depart to Hoa Binh province and reach Mai Chau, daydream as we drive a safe route with spectacular views at every bend. Upon arrival at Xa Linh Village, enjoy lunch in a H’mong house before starting on a beautiful trekking in the afternoon. From this time, we will not use car until the last day. You will walk to Tra Day Village, home to a small community of Black H’mong minority people. Our destination for this evening is Hang Kia village, home of the H’mong Minority people. Here, we stay overnight as the guests of an H’mong family in a traditional long house, situated in a picturesque valley of peach orchards.

DAY 3: HANG KIA VILLAGE – VAN VILLAGE (B, L, D)

Have breakfast at homestay.

Start an exciting trekking day. Right after the village we will walk on jungle trail for one hour. Then we descend the hill passing farm and terraces. The scenery is stunning with mountains, terraces and expansive valley. Crossing a small river we reach a village of White Thai minority group, where we have lunch in a local house. After lunch, you may wish to have a short sleep in the house.

In the remainder of the day we will walk on village road to reach Van Village, a beautiful village of White Thai minority people. Walk around this charming little village, enabling us to understand a little more about how the people live. Have dinner and stay overnight in a Thai family.

Approx: 7 hour trekking

DAY 4: VAN VILLAGE – BUOC VILLAGE (B, L, D)

Have breakfast at homestay.

Then, take 3 hours trek in the morning to reach Buoc Village. The path will runs uphill and down hill through bamboo forest, terraces and farms. We will reach Buoc Village at noon, another scenic village of White Thai minority people. After lunch in local house and take a short nap then enjoy 2 hours leisure trek around the village. Weather permitting, at the end of the day we could enjoy the cool water of the stream nearby the homestay. Have dinner and stay overnight at the local house.

DAY 5: VAN MAI VILLAGE – HANOI (B, L)

Have breakfast at homestay.

After breakfast, say goodbye to the family and enjoy the last trekking along mountain foot to reach Van Mai, where we will meet our car and driver for a short transfer to Pom Coong Village for lunch in a local house. After lunch we will head back to Hanoi.
 

Notes:

- An itinerary may at times be altered by our guides due to local conditions, the skill of participants and other unexpected circumstances. Our priority is always the experience and safety of our clients. Notes:
- It is compulsory to have security permission from Ha Giang police, so copy of passport and visa is needed for this tour.
- Personal luggage should be no more than 6kg. Good shoes, rain gear (Apr to Oct), warm clothes (Nov to Mar) and insect repellent are of great use.

DAY 6: HANOI - DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast at hotel, free leisure until driver (No Guide) pick up you and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
